Welcome to the San Francisco Mortuary Indexing Project (MIP). Anyone may 
participate and we appreciate everyone who does. The final index and images 
will be freely searchable at SFgenealogy.

This project will index the digital images of actual mortuary records. The index 
will only consist of the individual's name and date of death. 

Each volunteer may index as many images as they wish. There are no quotas. 
But, at least 100 images must be indexed to be listed in the final volunteers list.

If you would like to participate, Register once first and then Login each time 
afterwards.

You will also be added to the project mailing to be kept apprised of any project 
announcements or just to chat with your fellow volunteers. (You can unsubscribe at 
any time.)

PLEASE don't sign up for this project if you just want to do a search. The index 
will be available online after it is completed.
